This week I'm going to introduce you to a great card game in-world.
It's called Logos and it's similar to other card games like Magic: The Gathering, Yugi-oh, and Pokemon. It does cost a bit of $L, but the socialization you get from battling other players is worth it. For the hermits like myself that have Magic: The Gathering cards, but no one to play cards with, Logos is perfect. You can play anyone with the game HUDs anytime, anywhere, as long as you have the HUDs on. There have even been arenas specially made for people to battle with Logos cards. The starter pack cost $299L and you get 25 demo cards (which are weaker than that of their normal counterparts) and both the Main HUD and Battle HUD. You can get the HUD by either going on XSL HERE or going to the store in-world HERE.
There are three main color cards; INFO (blue), ENERGY (green), and MATTER (red). There are cards that need you to play other cards to be able to cover the combo cost, some that heal you, some that do massive damage, and some that are just plain hilarious to look at. Most of the character images that appear on the cards we're taken in-world, which is cool. Decks do take a little time to create and usually include only two of the main three colors. There are countless combinations of cards you can have in your deck. You are allowed to have as many as 60 cards in your deck, but I've been told and found that around 25-30 cards is best so they cycle through faster and you can end up being able to play the same card multiple times in a single match.
The website offers a lot of great features for players to use as well. There is a ranking system where every battle you participate in, you get EXP whether you win or lose. You get more EXP when you win of course, and you get double EXP when you battle someone you haven't battled yet for the first time. And, as an awesome bonus, each time you rank up a level, you get a free random card. The other website features include; a list of all the cards and info about each one, a list of the highest ranked players, and a secure player area for you to manage the cards you have in your deck. So, if you're wanting a great game to play with others and meet new people while doing so, hop on over to the store and get yourself a starter pack. You most likely will not be sorry.
If you ever want to come find me for a battle or two, come on over to an awesome gaming shop in-world called "Critical Hit!" I'm there a lot, hanging out with the owners, managers, and random people that come in. I'll put the teleport link HERE. See you around, and have fun.
