Logos Throwdown!

The first ever Logos Card Tournament was held earlier tonight.

The turn out for the tournament at Critical Hit! was pretty great. Vickor Gearbox and all the awesome staff did an amazing job putting all of it together to make one kickass tournament. There were 3 categories of players duking it out for the glory of 1st place. The first category was players ranked 1-6, then the next 7-12, and the last category of 13-18 since the highest rank that has been reached at this point in time is 18. 24 players signed up to test their skills against their similarly-ranked peers. After four long hours, the winners were standing proudly.

I entered into the tournament, not expecting to get very far. Somehow I managed to claw my way to 4th place in the 13-18 category. I didn't get a prize for my efforts, but the fun I had playing was just as good to me. I battled Meg Ronmark twice during this tournament and both times the battle seemed to go on forever. I won the first encounter and she won the second encounter before kicking ass and claiming the 1st place spot for the 13-18 category.

The other two categories also had some long and crazy battles as well. Mineheart Scorpio snagged the 1st place spot for the 7-12 category and Gambit Madzuko grabbed the 1st place spot for the 1-6 category. All in all, the tournament was a big success, even with the small lag issues and other little bugs here and there. I know I, like many other players that took part, will definitely be ready and waiting to get another chance to claim a #1 spot whenever the next tournament comes around.
